I'm Shandhiya, an emerging artist from Salem, Tamil Nadu. What began as a childhood hobby has grown into a deep passion that continues to shape my journey. Seeking a platform to refine my skills, I joined Hariarts Academy, where I was introduced to the charcoal medium. Starting from scratch, I gradually mastered the techniques and now specialize in creating hyperrealistic portraits. To date, I have completed 14+ realistic human faces which includes three commissioned works and two gift portraits, each of which deepened my commitment to the craft.

Building on the strong foundation I gained through charcoal, I have begun exploring colour pencil art and am eager to expand all other different mediums.

My artistic journey is driven by curiosity, dedication, and a desire for continuous learning. With each step, I move closer to my goal of becoming a full‑time professional artist, creating works that not only showcase technical skill but also connect meaningfully with people.
